Thailand welcomes Asanha Bucha
Today Thailand welcomes a great holiday – Asanha Bucha. Buddha is considered to have delivered his first preaching on this day, thus initiating Buddhism. It is traditional for Thai people to make offerings to monks in the morning and burn candles in the evening.
On July, 28 there will take place two more important holidays in the kingdom – the beginning of the three-month fasting Khao Phansa and birthday of His Majesty Maha Vajiralongkorn, King Rama X. Monday the 30th of July was annouced a day-off by the government.
Our warmest congratulations to all Thai people!
